Jude recently discovered bubble wrap. He has to really purpose to pop those bubbles because he is not very heavy. It brings a smile to his face and a squeal to his voice.

HAPPY Max
A trip to the local zoo had to include a ride on the carousel.
Playing hide-and-go seek around this tree where we stopped for a picnic.
Jude was enamored with the Orangutans. There were a couple that were playing with each other. He probably stood at this window for 3 or 4 minutes before he even turned away.
Jude likes to look in the mirror (what kid doesn't?) and make faces at himself.
Speaking of funny faces...
a sunny day in the backyard
This was our first year to color Easter eggs. The kids loved it, of course. We invited friends over and made a mess of the whole table. It was lot of fun! And look at those pretty eggs.
Canaan happened to look out her bedroom window during our bedtime routine and saw a rainbow. I took her out front where we could see the entire rainbow and discovered it was a double rainbow. So vibrant and beautiful!
Canaan, Jude, and Mom tried PEEPS for the first time. None of us were a fan.

Matthew and I got away to celebrate our 11th anniversary. We spent the weekend in Portland, Oregon. It was a fun and relaxing weekend!
Jude loves working on these puzzles. We have just a few that have 20 or less pieces. He really enjoys them and has been able to do them without assistance.
Canaan brought these flowers in from a bush in our backyard. They are beautiful!
